How to join Meridian Hiking Club
Meridian welcomes anybody with an interest in hiking. Membership is open to anyone over the age of eighteen.
The membership fee is R200 per annum (March to February). Children under 18 do not become members but may join their parents on suitable hikes – after consultation with the hike leader.
The R200 membership fee applies if paid between 1 March and 31 July.
If you join after July, the membership fee is R100, valid until 28th of February the next year.
To join Meridian right now, fill in your details below and press the Join button at the bottom.
Please deposit your membership fee directly into the Meridian Hiking Club Account:
Branch Code: 104609
Current Account No: 1046348396
Include your name for identification. E-mail proof of payment to email@example.com
You become a member when you receive your Membership number.
If you wish to find out more about an event beforehand, contact the event co-ordinator, whose name and contact details are published alongside the relevant event in our Calendar. There is a guest fee for non-members on day hikes and also for weekends and trails.
Supper club, pub evenings and other social events are a great opportunity to meet other club members and share experiences.
Members do get first preference in booking for trails and weekends away, but non-members can also book if there is space. If it is a trail, the trail co-ordinator needs to be convinced that fitness requirements are met.
We look forward to having you as a member of our club!
