This is an advanced Intermediate hike. We are going to the top of the mountain, so if not reasonably hiking fit, this hike is not for you.
We will start at Newlands Forest Parking and hike up to the contour path. We will the proceed up Dark Gorge to the top of the mountain. We will descend via Newlands Ravine and the from the contour path back through the forest to the parking.
There is no exposure or scrambling on this hike.
Please make sure you have correct hiking gear and at least 2 litres water.
