We will take the contour path towards & ascend Skeleton Gorge. It has a steep start & finish, ladders & some rocks to climb on the way up. We will have a few breaks along the way for those who have kids with them, then the main break we will have at the dam on top. A moderate hike. Platteklip Gorge, Contour Path, overlooking Cape Town and Camps Bay, down Kloof Corner. Bring food, hot drinks and torches / headlamps. Rain cancels. Moving of cars.

14:00 at Kloof Nek parking (where you turn off towards the cableway). Best to park close to the information centre at the upper parking area. Please don't leave any valuables in your car.

Up Cecilia Ridge to the back of de Villiers Dam. Then along the ridge above Orange Kloof to Caveman's Overhang. Up to Wynberg Caves and back down the road. ± 5 hours.

A short walk in the reserve in a very safe environment. No dogs allowed in the reserve due to the sensitive nature of the animal and plant life. Bring some water, a hat and a jacket if the weather is cool.

1pm Meet up in the car park at the entrance to the reserve. After this walk those who attended are invited to a braai at my home nearby – bring your meat, a salad for the table and drinks. Dessert will be provided. If the weather is too bad to walk, we will still be able to braai as it is indoors. Please message me closer to the day to confirm.

A steep climb with an exposed traverse and then some rock scrambling followed by another steep climb. After Agatha's we will proceed up Constantia Corner to Camel Rock and De Villiers Dam, and come down the road back to Constantia Nek. Approx 4.5 hours. You need to be fit and have rock scrambling experience. Rain cancels

Ascend via Blind Gully side and traverse on Travis Jackson route up Jubilee Buttress. There is rock scrambling and exposed areas en route hence it’s essential to be experienced in scrambling, have a head for heights and to be fit. Continue to Echo Valley and descend via Kasteelspoort. Duration is about 6 hours. Rain cancels the hike
